I started my career in photography more than 30 years ago focusing on music (jazz). My photographs have been part of multiple exhibits. I was co-editor (with Bill Minor) of the 40th Anniversary book for the Monterey Jazz Festival (Monterey Jazz Festival: 40 Legendary Years, Angel City Press, 1997).

Starting in 2012, as a Visual Hunter, I turned my creative lens on the urban environment in cities around the world. The project, entitled “Art of the City Wall” focuses on transformative visual art and aesthetics of urban walls.

“Artifacts” (Acuity Press, 2018) is the first publication from this series.

“De-Faced” (Self Published, 2020) is the second publication.

In 2007 I founded f8 Pasadena Salon, exploring the aesthetics and art of photography.  http://f8pasadenasalon.weebly.com With the Covid pandemic the salon became virtual and remains virtual into 2022.

In 2012 I founded and currently Co-Director of “Pasadena Photography Arts” dedicated to promoting photography and helping emerging and established photographers in the East Los Angeles area,  http://pasadenaphotographyarts.org
